UMS won in July 2010 a tender from the Ministry of Health regarding the School Oral Health Program with a contract worth KD 17 million for the next 3 years. The program covers Jahra, Ahmadi, Hawally and Farwaniya Governorates. The above project will be carried out in coordination with Forsyth International Inc.

Forsyth International (FI), established in 1910 to improve oral health of school children in Boston, has been a place of science, learning and services providing unparalleled environment for education, for generations of dental hygienist, graduate students and postdoctoral follows. FI is a part of Forsyth Institute and handles projects worldwide except those in USA.
